Key Benefits

Why This Model Is Specified

Zamak #3 Casting

Die cast in Zamak #3, which holds fine ornament detail and stays dimensionally stable, so the hundredth piece matches the first.

Finish Options

Available in Antique Brass. The approved tone is recorded so a repeat order matches the first one.

Hand Polished Before Finishing

Plating cannot hide a poor surface, so cast parts are hand polished before they go to the plating line.

Made On Our Own Tooling

The mould is ours and sits in our Wenzhou factory, so a re-order runs from the same tool rather than a copy.

Application Scenarios

Where It Is Used

  • Coffin and casket lid decoration
  • Interior placement inside the casket
  • Name plates and memorial plaques
  • Cross and crucifix fixed to tombstones and monuments

Who It Is For

Buyers Who Specify This Item

  • Coffin and casket manufacturers
  • Funeral hardware importers and wholesalers
  • Funeral homes and funeral directors
  • Traders and buying offices sourcing funeral hardware from China

Problems It Solves

What Goes Wrong Without It

  • Decoration that does not match the handles already fitted to the coffin.
  • Plating tone that drifts between orders so a re-order will not sit next to earlier stock.
  • Waiting on a supplier who has to sub-contract the tooling before anything can be made.
  • Small parts that no factory wants to quote because the volume is modest.

  • Castings and mouldings are inspected in process, not only at the end of the line.

Customization Options

What Can Be Changed

  • Finish and tone, agreed against a physical reference sample rather than a colour name.
  • Bar length and screw specification, cut to the coffin size you actually build.
  • Packing format, including packing by the set so one carton serves one coffin.
  • Dimensional changes to an existing design where the tooling allows it.
  • Completely new designs tooled from a drawing, a sample or a photograph and held for your account.

Use Guide

Fitting And Handling Notes

  • Mark the centre line of the lid first and set the piece out from that line, not from an edge.
  • Use the screw size stated in the specification. A longer screw can break through a thin lid panel.
  • Drill a pilot hole in hardwood. Driving straight into hardwood can split the panel or strip the casting.
  • Fit decoration after the coffin is polished, so polish and wax do not build up around the ornament.
  • Where the piece will be fixed outdoors on stone, ask for the stainless or brass version instead.
