A Funeral Hardware Manufacturer That Started By Buying Its Own Moulds

Virtue Hardware Co., Ltd started in the funeral business in 2007. At the beginning we were a trader for all kinds of funeral products, and we cooperated with other factories to make production. At the same time we invested in our own moulds, so that the tooling behind the products we sold belonged to us rather than to a supplier.

In 2016 we established our own factory in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province. Being a new producer is not the same as being a new company, and it took two years to bring production quality, mould development, the management system and quality control to where we wanted them.

By 2018 the production and quality had settled and more clients came to rely on us. Since then we have continued to improve quality and reduce cost, which is the only durable way to be worth choosing over another supplier.

We are dedicated to coffin handles, ornaments, cross and crucifix, name plates, casket arms, swing bars and the various hardware related to a coffin or casket.

The main products are made of zamak, a zinc alloy. They are produced on die casting machines, then hand polished and electroplated. The surface can be plated to gold (GP), nickel (NP), antique brass (AB), antique copper (AC) and other tones. We can also produce some articles in steel, stainless steel 304 or 316, or aluminium alloy.

Alongside that we produce items in ABS or PP plastic, which is more economic for cremation. The part is formed by injection machine to the shape of the mould, then vacuum metallized and colour coated to a gold, silver or copper finish. Some ABS products can also be finished in antique brass or antique copper.

Our mission, in the words we have used since the beginning, is to supply valuable products and service. In practice that means a stated lift weight you can repeat to your own customer, a plating tone that still matches on the fourth re-order, and a person on the other end of WhatsApp who can answer a question about a casting.

We would rather leave a specification blank than print a number we cannot stand behind. Where a figure is missing from a product page, ask us and we will confirm it from the factory.
